Carol Tucker, UHD's director of Institutional Research, has been named vice president of the Texas Association for Institutional Research.
Tucker, who has been at UHD since 2007, will spend one year as vice president before subsequent one-year terms as president and past president of the organization. She was elected to the position at the group's annual conference last month in Austin.
The organization supports institutional research, planning, evaluation and policy analysis at higher education institutions across Texas.
Tucker holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas.
